
The term SUCCINITE refers to natural amber from the Baltic Sea. Unlike Dominican amber, it contains a large amount of succinic acid (up to 8%) and almost always occurs in very large opaque to very transparent nodules. (More information)
Nodule of natural amber with good transparency, gaseous fossil inclusions and plant residues. It is an element of an old necklace of re-polished raw amber and to which the central hole has been filled.
